Huge Number Of Unexploded Tipu Sultan Era Rockets Recovered In Karnataka

A year after unearthing thousands of iron rockets believed to be used during Tipu Sultan’s dynasty, a huge number of unexploded rockets have been recovered in Karnataka’s ShivappaNayaka Palace Museum situated on the bank of River Tunga.

According to the archaeologists, the rockets dated back to the 18th century.

The Commissioner of District Archaeological Department, Shejeshwar told ANI that the findingsare proof of the fact that rocket science technology existed in the 18th Century.
