Food Served To Former Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa At Hospital Cost A Whopping Rs 1.15 Crore
Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalitha, who passed away on December 5, 2016, was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Chennai. Her party made sure that the popular leader gets everything she wants during her treatment. According to reports, the food served to her during her treatment alone cost a whopping Rs 1.17 crore.
Apollo Hospital submitted documents before the inquiry commission probing the death of the former chief minister. The documents reveal the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam has paid most of the bill, with the small matter of Rs 44.46 lakh left to be settled, according to a report by Hindustan Times.
She was submitted to the hospital on September 22, 2016 and passed away on December 5, 2016.
