How Manchester United could line up in Europa League match against AZ Alkmaar with experimental team
Man United are already through to the last-32 of the competition ahead of their clash at home to AZ Alkmaar on Thursday, who have also qualified.
However, to ensure they don’t get drawn against one of the Champions League dropouts, the Red Devils will want to finish top of Group L.
They are ahead of the Dutch side by a point, so must avoid defeat to finish top.

There’s more riding on Man United’s Premier League clash against Everton on Old Trafford on Sunday, so it wouldn’t be surprising if a number of key players were rested for AZ.
However, the Norwegian may want to play some senior players just to make sure Man United don’t lose and thus get a harder draw in the next round.
He’s likely to be without Jesse Lingard though, who is set to join Paul Pogba on the sidelines.
The attacking midfielder picked up a knock in the win against Manchester City and was absent from training on Wednesday, as was Pogba, who has not featured since September due to an ankle injury.
Nemanja Matic is fit again and Phil Jones will be available, but the match is likely to come too soon for Diogo Dalot.
Marcos Rojo, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Eric Bailly are also building fitness.
