Andrea Anastasi (Lotos Trefl Gdansk coach): We are all extremely happy to be here. First time in our history but also in the history of the city of Gdansk. In my opinion Tricity is a great place for any sport tournament. We want to enjoy being the host of the tournament and also the fact that our city became the capital of volleyball for two days.
Bartosz Gawryszewski (captain Lotos Trefl Gdansk): We are happy to play the final tournament in our city. Most importantly we hope to keep the level we had played the whole season and try to make another surprise with our performance.
Miguel Falasca (coach of PGE Skra Belchatow): We traveled to Gdansk with a clear intention to simply enjoy the tournament. I can assure everybody that we will play with a satisfaction. It’s not a secret that our level of volleyball recently wasn’t acceptable. We didn’t play the way we want and can. We want to come back to the way we used to be.
Mariusz Wlazly (captain of PGE Skra Belchatow): We are pleased to play in the final of The Polish Cup and being among four the best teams in Poland. For the next two days we want to enjoy volleyball.
Roberto Piazza (coach of Jastrzebski Wegiel): First of all I am very happy to be here. It is my first year as a coach in Poland and my first Final Four of the Polish Cup. I hope that our team can play in a good level with Resovia, like we did during the semifinal of the polish league.
Michal Lasko (captain of Jastrzebski Wegiel) I can only confirm what did my coach say. It is an honour to be among four the best teams in Poland and we will do everything we can to show our best in Gdansk.
Andrzej Kowal (coach of Asseco Resovia Rzeszow): I can only summary what all my colleagues have already said. What we can do is to play the best volleyball we can and see what can happen. We are in the same pairs like in the semifinal of the play-offs so there’s nothing that can surprise us anymore.
